IT IS BEST TO BASE THE DECISION OF WHETHER OR NOT TO EAT THIS UNPLANNED FOOD ON HOW I’LL FEEL WHEN I FINISH, NOT ON HOW I AM FEELING RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT”
- “If there is leftover food, it will either go to waste in the trash or in my body; Either way it is wasted!”
- Whenever I am having a craving, remember, “I am only 5 minutes away from my Success!”
- “Which would be the greater loss? Taking time (but honestly not that much time) to sit and eat meals or all of the grief that comes from feeling out of control of my eating? (time spent worrying about weights and feeling guilty about eating, money, and time spent on weight-related illness, how much longer it takes me to move around and walk places, etc.)?
- “I can’t keep chips out of my house because it’s not fair to the kids!”–It’s not fair to the kids for you to be unhealthy & miserable.
